Empowering Futures: Career Counseling Workshop

Moti Ram Arya Sen.Sec School conducted a career counseling workshop on 11 April. The effort was made for the students of 10th,11th and 12th grade students in making informed decisions about their future career paths.

The program was carried out for an effective 1 and half hour duration.The workshop was conducted by a renowned career counselor, Saurabh Gupta, who possesses extensive experience in guiding students towards successful career trajectories.

The key highlights of the workshop were the engaging sessions which facilitate self-exploration and reflection among students.

The workshop featured comprehensive discussions on diverse career paths available in fields such as science, commerce, humanities, and vocational courses. Real-life examples and success stories inspired students to explore unconventional career options.Information about various undergraduate courses, colleges, and entrance exams was shared to help students make informed decisions about their academic pursuits. Guidance on scholarship opportunities and financial aid was also provided.

Mr. Gupta effectively assisted students in understanding their strengths, interests, and aspirations and to provide insights into various career options across different streams.

He further provided practical advice to students as well as their parents on selecting subjects and streams based on individual interests, academic performance, and career goals. At the end of the session the students cleared their doubts by asking various questions regarding the confusions they usually face while deciding their career.

Principal, Dr. Seema biji thanked everyone and further added that these workshops help in  empowering students to make informed decisions and pursue their passions and further lay a solid foundation for their future success.

Overall the career counseling workshop was a resounding success, providing students with invaluable guidance and resources to navigate their career journeys effectively.It was a very informative day for the students,their parents and faculty members who attended the workshop.
